What to know about the ‘cash for ash’ scheme and its impact on Australian communities

A new cash for ash scheme is set to be rolled out across the country to reduce the need for a tax.

Key points:Cash for ash is an idea from the US where people pay for goods and services with cash that is collected at the point of sale.

The scheme has been designed to encourage consumers to save for retirementThe scheme is currently rolling out to 10 million households in AustraliaUnder the scheme, consumers can choose to receive a small payment each month.

They can then make a cash donation to a charity of their choice and receive a discount on purchases made using the scheme.

Cash for Ash will also be offered in the form of a digital card, which can be used at participating businesses, banks and other financial institutions.

The cash will be deposited into a bank account, where the money can be withdrawn at a later date.

It will be rolled-out over a five-year period.

Under the Cash for Ash scheme, the money is collected from customers as a payment and the money will be spent on goods and other items.

The charity can choose a variety of different types of goods to donate to, including items such as groceries, clothing, car repairs and home furnishings.

The money is then distributed as part of a cash rebate to the consumer, with the proceeds distributed to the charity.

The Cash for Ashley scheme has faced criticism for not doing enough to help Australians save for their retirement.

Earlier this year, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said the scheme was an example of the kind of financial assistance Australians needed, with “the worst-off Australians” being given an average cash payment of $15,000 each year.

Mr Turnbull has said the government is looking at ways to increase the amount of money Australians can donate, as the country continues to grapple with its budget woes.

“We know that the best way to help the very poorest Australians is to help them save for the future,” he said at the time.

“There are more than a million Australians who are struggling to pay their mortgage, pay their rent, pay for the rent of their own home.

That’s why the government wants to provide the best possible support to Australians.”

In November last year, Mr Turnbull said that while Australia’s tax rates were among the highest in the world, the government was not “worried about” how much Australians were giving to charity.
